Form Themes

SmarterForm offers multiple themes to match your brand and use case. Themes control the overall look, layout, and user experience of your form.

Theme Overview

SmarterForm provides four themes:

1. Default (Free): A clean, professional, all-in-one-page layout. Perfect for most use cases. Included with all plans.

2. Conversational (Pro): A Typeform-style one-question-at-a-time experience with smooth transitions. Great for longer forms and higher completion rates.

3. Minimal (Pro): Ultra-clean design with maximum whitespace. Ideal for elegant, distraction-free forms.

4. Soft (Pro): Rounded, gentle design with a friendly, approachable feel. Perfect for community and customer-facing forms.

How to Change Themes

Switching themes is simple:

1. Open your form in the Form Builder

2. Go to the Design tab (left sidebar)

3. Browse available themes and click one to preview it

4. Your choice is saved automatically

Themes and Backgrounds

All themes work with all background options. You can combine any theme with:

• Solid colors (Free)

• Photo presets (Pro)

• Custom uploads (Pro)

Which Theme Should I Use?

Use Default if: You have a short form (5 questions or fewer), want a traditional layout, or are embedding the form on your website.

Use Conversational if: You have a longer form, want higher completion rates, or are creating an interactive quiz/survey.

Use Minimal if: You want an elegant, high-end aesthetic with maximum simplicity.

Use Soft if: You want a friendly, approachable design for community or customer-facing forms.
