Remove Branding PRO

What is Form Branding?

By default, all forms display a small "Powered by SmarterForm" badge in the footer. This is visible to respondents when they fill out your form.

With a Pro plan, you can remove this branding entirely for a fully white-labeled experience.

Why Remove Branding?

• Professional appearance: Present your form as entirely your own
• Brand consistency: Keep your brand front and center without third-party mentions
• Client work: Essential if you're building forms for clients
• Trust: Some respondents prefer forms without external tool branding

How to Remove Branding

   Upgrade to Pro

   Upgrade your account to Pro. Branding removal is included with all Pro plans at no extra cost.

   Open your form

   Navigate to the form you want to edit.

   Go to Design tab

   Click the Design tab in the left sidebar.

   Find Branding section

   Scroll to the Branding section (labeled with PRO).

   Toggle 'Remove branding'

   Turn on the "Remove branding" toggle. The "Powered by SmarterForm" badge will disappear from the preview.

   Publish

   Your changes are saved automatically. Make sure your form is published so respondents see the updated version.

What Gets Removed

When you enable branding removal:

• The "Powered by SmarterForm" text and link are completely removed from the form footer
• The SmarterForm logo (if present) is removed
• No visual indication that the form is built with SmarterForm

What Stays

Removing branding does NOT affect:

• Your form's functionality: All features work exactly the same
• Form URL: Your form remains hosted on smarterform.dev (custom domains are not available)
• Analytics: Tracking and data collection continue normally
• Embeds: Branding removal applies to embedded forms too

Per-Form Setting

Branding removal is configured per form, not globally. This means:

• You can choose to remove branding on some forms but not others
• Each form has its own branding toggle in the Design tab
• Useful if you have internal forms where branding doesn't matter

Embedded Forms

If you embed your form on your website using an iframe, branding removal applies automatically. Once you turn it on, the embedded version will also show no SmarterForm branding.

What Happens if You Downgrade

If you downgrade from Pro to Free:

• Branding removal toggles become unavailable in the Design tab
• The "Powered by SmarterForm" badge reappears on all forms
• Your forms continue to work normally—only the branding changes
