What is AI Insights?

AI Insights uses advanced AI to analyze your form responses and extract meaningful patterns, sentiments, and themes from open-text answers. Instead of manually reading through hundreds of responses, AI Insights gives you a summary of key findings in seconds.

What it analyzes

• Common themes: What topics appear most frequently in responses
• Sentiment: Overall positive, neutral, or negative tone
• Patterns: Recurring phrases, concerns, or suggestions
• Key insights: Actionable takeaways from your data

Requirements

To generate AI Insights for a form, you need:

• A Pro plan subscription
• At least 10 completed submissions
• At least one open-text question (Short Text or Long Text)
• Responses must contain actual text (not just empty or one-word answers)

How to Generate AI Insights

   Open your form

   Navigate to your form in the Dashboard and open it in the Form Builder.

   Go to Analytics tab

   Click the Analytics tab in the left sidebar.

   Find the AI Insights section

   Scroll down to the AI Insights section (labeled with PRO).

   Generate insights

   Click the "Generate Insights" button. The AI will analyze your responses and display results in 10-30 seconds.

Interpreting Results

AI Insights provides a natural language summary of your responses. You'll typically see:

Overall Summary

A high-level overview of the main themes and sentiments found in your responses.

Key Themes

Specific topics or patterns that appear frequently. For example:

• "Many respondents mentioned pricing concerns"
• "Users frequently requested a mobile app"
• "Customer support was praised in multiple responses"

Sentiment Analysis

An indication of the overall tone (positive, negative, neutral) and what's driving that sentiment.

Actionable Recommendations

When relevant, the AI may suggest next steps or areas to investigate based on the data.

Best Practices

• Wait for enough data: While 10 submissions is the minimum, 30+ responses will give you more accurate insights.
• Use open-ended questions: AI Insights works best with Long Text fields where people can write detailed responses.
• Regenerate periodically: As you collect more responses, regenerate insights to see updated patterns.
• Combine with manual review: AI Insights is a powerful starting point, but always review raw responses for context.

Limitations

AI Insights is powerful, but it has some limitations to keep in mind:

• Text-only analysis: Only analyzes open-text fields (Short Text, Long Text). Multiple choice and other field types are not included.
• Language: Works best with English responses. Other languages may produce less accurate results.
• Data cap: Analyzes up to 200 recent submissions per generation.
• Cooldown: 5-minute wait between generations to manage resources.

Troubleshooting

"Not enough data to generate insights"

You need at least 10 submissions with text responses. If you see this error:

• Check that you have at least 10 completed submissions
• Ensure your form has open-text questions (Short Text or Long Text)
• Make sure respondents are actually writing text (not leaving fields blank)

"Please wait before generating again"

You've generated insights within the last 5 minutes. Wait a few minutes and try again.

"AI Insights is not available"

This means the AI service is temporarily unavailable. This is rare and typically resolves within a few minutes. If it persists, contact support.

Pricing

AI Insights is included with all Pro plans at no additional cost. There are no per-generation charges or usage limits beyond the rate limit mentioned above.
